Mary Cincotta

Dan has been designing and making custom furniture for the past 50 yrs. Over the past few years he began turning bark edged wooden bowls as well. Dan offers a variety of wood turned pieces.

My creative work is rooted in my love and appreciation for the often astounding beauty found in nature. My latest passion, botanical printing, is direct contact printing of leaves onto textiles and paper. Pigments and tannins are coaxed from the leaves with high, prolonged heat. Most colors come from natural dyes, but I have also been experimenting with the vivid colors from modern dyes, using the same botanical printing process.

Joyce Halvorson is a Blacksmith by Barron Wisconsin. She has been forging steel for 30+ years. Most of her work is in smaller items like hooks and bottle openers and adds an artistic touch to make them both useful and decorative. Campfire tripods, wind chimes, mobiles, small tables and railings are some of the larger items she makes. “What I love about Blacksmithing, is that with just a hammer, anvil, forge and steel the variety of things that you can make, including your own tools.”

Having first been introduced to watercolor painting long ago, only lately have I had the time to paint again. Aside from a few work-shops, I have no formal training. My work is a mixture of mediums and methods that I have learned, one being the traditional approach where a reference subject is chosen with well-planned procedure to make a representational picture. On the opposite spectrum the experimental or intuitive approach is just what the name suggests- a spontaneous and expressive use of splashing or pouring the paint on the paper after which the artist slowly pulls order out of the "chaos" and builds the composition.

BearTrack Farm is a special place in the public forest of NW Wisconsin, where my family lives with nature and creates handmade, wood fired pottery.

Julene Kielman has studied and created clay objects and functional pottery for many years since her childhood and education in Minnesota and Iowa. Wisconsin has been our family home and pottery for thirty years.

 I began painting during the pandemic lockdown. I focused on the birds and nature near our lake cottage. This will be my first exhibition since 1984.

Mercer and Blake creates art inspired by nature. Scott and Renee Mercer share a passion for birds and their life at the lake in Northern Wisconsin.

My “Nelly’s Bags” are handmade often using canvas, home deco, leather and faux leather fabrics. These fabrics are chosen for strength and functionality with an eye towards trends in color and design. My bags reflect the style and durability of more expensive ones.
Careful design and quality of construction produces a long lasting bag with style. Many options for storage are found in these designs. Exterior and interior pockets as well as choices of handles meet the needs of most women.

Jeff Nelson is currently living in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I have lived and worked in Colorado and Florida. My artistic journey began as a youth. Under the nurturing wing of grandparents and parents I was encouraged to express and experiment with drawing and painting. My earliest remembrance is of Rosemaling at the kitchen table with grandparents and other relatives. My formal education included the University of Wisconsin where a BFA was achieved. Also, extension courses at the University of Saint Thomas and University of Florence, Florence, Italy were completed. I have no specific medium of choice. However, much time has been spent with watercolor. Currently, I am working with cold wax and paper constructions. My work has appeared at galleries in Kansas City, Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota, Naples, Florida and smaller galleries around our region. I am currently a member of The Valley Art Association, Pablo Center, Heyde Center for the Arts, and the Association of Wisconsin Artists. The act of creating gives meaning to living each day. Because of this I consider myself fortunate to be an artist.

After 20 years as a costumer for Festival Theatre in St Croix Falls, I wanted to pursue new ideas, while staying close to fabric. I chose to explore bold colors, whimsical designs in cotton and linen. I centered my interests on practical usage, easy maintenance and, most of all, my passion for color.
It all started in 2003 when my daughter was preparing to be an exchange student and needed host gifts. I developed a bag design for many practical usages. She went to Brazil with 25 bags and I continued redesigning, Over time, My Little Bag was created.

My art background is in the practical application of many mediums, including, watercolor, basketry, costuming, quilting, improvisational quilting, glass works, pottery and the list goes on. I practice alternate mediums through classroom training once a year to expand my creative outlet, bringing fresh new ideas to the design table for My Little Bag.

Paul started creating pottery and tile after a career as a Swiss trained pastry chef and food technologist. Transitioning from the pastry arts to pottery was a natural transition as many of the techniques used in the pastry arts transferred easily to pottery and tile.
He has worked in porcelain, for tiles, stoneware and earthenware for pottery. The majority of Paul’s glazes are made from scratch. The garden inspired pottery uses glazes that crawl and run freely. Learning the way the glazes run and mix in the kiln has been a continuing adventure. 
He is influenced by the free forms and colors of Mexican street pottery. No two pieces are exactly the same and the individuality of the artist is celebrated. Paul enjoys making colorful pieces for the garden, from bird baths and bird houses to decorative garden pieces. Each piece is one of a kind and carefully hand crafted with intentionality.
